SLONEC hosted an engaging and insightful webinar focused on Emotional Intelligence and Change Management, designed to support leaders, managers, and professionals navigating organisational change. The session explored how emotional intelligence plays a critical role in understanding and managing human reactions during periods of transition.
The webinar was led by Ibrahim Alusine Kebe, an experienced HR Lecturer at IPAM, University of Sierra Leone, and a Change Management Specialist. He shared practical insights on how emotions influence behaviour, performance, and decision-making, while offering strategies for managing resistance, uncertainty, and team dynamics during change.
Participants gained valuable tools to strengthen their leadership capability, improve communication, and lead teams with empathy and confidence. Through this webinar, SLONEC reaffirmed its commitment to capacity building and leadership development across Sierra Leone and beyond.
