JOB SUMMARY
SLONEC is seeking a highly skilled and proactive HR Manager to lead the organization’s human resources functions. The successful candidate will oversee HR operations, ensure compliance with labor laws, drive talent acquisition and development, and foster a high-performance culture. This role combines strategic HR management with hands-on implementation to strengthen internal systems and support organizational growth.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Strategy & Policy Development
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate current HR frameworks, organizational structures, and staff performance systems to recommend improvements.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to management on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
Recruitment & Talent Management
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job description design, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Oversee talent retention initiatives, employee engagement programs, and career development strategies.
  • Monitor and enhance performance management processes, including appraisals, promotions, and probation assessments.
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
  • Advise management on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Promote a positive organizational culture that aligns with SLONEC’s values of accountability and professionalism.
  • Implement staff welfare, recognition, and engagement initiatives.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
  • Ensure HR practices comply with national labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, benefits administration, and employment contracts.
  • Monitor compliance with asset management, inventory, and administrative protocols.
Capacity Building & Training
  • Identify organizational training needs and develop staff development programs.
  • Coordinate or deliver workshops, seminars, and capacity-building sessions on HR, compliance, and leadership.
Organizational Development & Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and administrative processes, including digitalization or automation.
  • Support change management initiatives, workforce restructuring, and process optimization.
  • Advise on strategies to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, and staff performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, assessments, and recommendations to management.
  • Represent SLONEC in HR-related meetings and professional forums.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD) is an advantage.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR management or consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment, HR policy development, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Experience in delivering training, staff development, and organizational change initiatives.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Strategic thinking with practical implementation experience.
