Job Description – Procurement Consultant
Our client, who is in the procurement advisory and logistic business, is seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated procurement consultant who is eager to drive change and excel in a dynamic work environment.
As a Procurement Consultant, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes for various clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. Your role will involve thoroughly analyzing procurement documents, identifying areas of potential risk or non-compliance, and making recommendations for improvements. You will prepare comprehensive procurement reports, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards. Additionally, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement effective procurement strategies, providing valuable insights to support their procurement management and decision-making.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as necessary.

- Identify and assess risks related to procurement and supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current procurement processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline operations and data analysis.

- Act as a liaison between clients and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and resolution of issues.

- Actively promote the company’s brand and participate in sales activities.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, social media management, and other promotional initiatives.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
