SLONEC was founded in Freetown on 4 April 2023 by Ishmael Bangura. Today it is one brand with two groups: SLONEC Advisory Group, the UK parent company, and SLONEC Group Africa, which it owns and which runs our businesses in Sierra Leone. Clients always know which company they are dealing with and where the work is done.

SLONEC Advisory Group is the parent of the SLONEC group. In London it works as SLONEC Advisory (UK); UK company registration is in progress. It helps African businesses enter the UK, and businesses, investors and the diaspora in the UK, Europe, the US and beyond enter Africa.

Founder & CEO · SLONEC
Ishmael founded SLONEC in Freetown on 4 April 2023 to raise the standard of professional services in Sierra Leone and across Africa. He leads SLONEC Group Africa and heads SLONEC Advisory (UK) in London. He is a professional accountant, and in 2024 he was recognised by the African Consulting Group among the Top 100 Professionals in Sierra Leone.
Ishmael Bangura founded SLONEC in Freetown on 4 April 2023 with one conviction: the standard of professional services in Sierra Leone, and across Africa, can and must be higher. SLONEC began as an accountancy and consultancy firm and grew into three businesses: SLONEC Accountancy, SLONEC Consultancy and SLONEC Recruitment & Training, working from 1 Hannah Benka-Coker Street.
Our mission is to help transform the business landscape in Sierra Leone and beyond through better customer service, professionalism and confidentiality. We pride ourselves on quality, integrity and customer satisfaction, and we build long-term relationships with the individuals, businesses and organisations we work with.
